In 2012 a hot new Ceremony venue opened at the historic Okanagan landmark - Eldorado Hotel.  Their latest "SUN ROOF" is available for ceremonies, and sits above the 3rd floor of the hotel over looking the most magnificent 360 degree panorama of the lake, city and mountain views.  This brand new ceremony venue is unlike any other in Kelowna and will literally take your breath away.  What an amazingly beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and photos.



This area can host up to 150 of your closest friends and family and will definitely be a grand start to the wedding they will always remember.  Available for a light cocktail reception after the ceremony, but dependent upon weather as you can imagine this can at times, be a windy location.  Cost is $1500- for the Roof Top venue rental.  Although somewhat costly there is no other comparable venue lakeside in this area which makes it unique and memorable.





Another option,  also for ceremonies at the Eldorado Hotel.  The Lakeside Boardwalk can also seat up to 120 guests, and an elevated green space for post ceremony celebratory "Bubbles".

Of course moving within the hotel to another location for the Reception provides continuity and comfort for your guests, with having the ceremony and reception at one location.  The modern "Great Room & Lakeview Terrace Bar" up on the 2nd floor was newly opened as a banquet space in 2011, or select the "Lakeside Sunroom & Terrace" with it's classic heritage styling, overlooking Lake Okanagan.

Remember book early, as these venues are already booking one to two years in advance.  Don't miss out.

Modern, elegant, luxe and sublimely chic in a refined way.  The entire event was absolutely pleasurable.  Like an elegant, black tie, formal dinner party with refined luxury and sparkle.  Guests flew in from across the country and of course admired the elegance of the venue and the surrounding lake area.  It was a pleasure to get to know the family members as well as this couple and their friends.

MOB (Mother of the Bride) approached me a year in advance to assist with the planning for her daughter Elizabeth's + Jason's wedding.  Since the couple lived on the East coast of Canada, the wedding was across the country at the Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon and she was in Calgary - she required some help.   Donna worked tirelessly to develop the most beautiful wedding day anyone could imagine. All the details, from the processional to "Pachabel Cannon in D",  to the Hand Ceremony, solo guest guitarist who played and sang "I Will" by the Beatles, to the Latin Guitarist during the cocktail hour, the day was perfect in every way - from music thru the decor, beautiful florals, the guests and charming couple, their family and friends.  A jaw dropping spectacular but refined event that will stay with me for a long time.

Elizabeth + Jason were the most charmed couple.  Elizabeth a petite, refined young woman, previously a principal dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and every bit the ballerina princess.  Jason was her prince charming, in every sense possible.  Absolutely adorable, as was their charmed wedding day celebrations.  I had the pleasure of meeting with them only once prior to the meeting on a brief visit they made to the Okanagan.
