Grand roadside appeal to this new garden venue!

Well I cannot believe it has been a whole month since I wrote my last blog.   This summer has been a busy time for me with my Okanagan Destination Brides.  Even the early fall saw several of my clients traveling to the Okanagan to find that very special venue that fulfilled all their dreams for their wedding day celebrations.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to an open house for one of our newest GARDEN locations perfect for your wedding ceremony and photo sessions.  "SERENITY GARDENS" is now taking bookings for 2011.  This family operated venue, high on the Rutland Bench above Kelowna, in the sunny Okanagan has all that any couple could want for their wedding day. 

Meandering Stream, Waterfalls and pools welcome visitors!

5 Acres of exceptionally kept gardens, pools, waterfalls, shade corners and surrounded by lawned orchards and  lake views for your most perfect wedding pictures portraying all the elements exclusive to the Okanagan.  Meandering stone laden paths lead you from open spaces to shade reflective pools and waterfalls.

The gardens are wrapped between apple orchards, perfect spots for wedding photos.

Their Event Coordinator Trish Koebel, tells me the cost to have your ceremony at Serenity Gardens is reasonably charged at $1075- plus tax for 3 hours.  Included in the fee is an aisled, open lawn space that will accommodate 200 guests, and 100 white padded folding chairs are provided for your use.  Wedding party and guests have full use of the gardens, patios and poolside areas surrounding the owners home on the property.  By the start of next season they will have a ceremony pergola in place as well as an elegant version of a porta potty (with mirror and vanity)  for guest's usage.  They book two wedding times per day and are open all seasons. They are in the process of applying for special licensing which will allow guests to have a short reception after the ceremony.

If you just wanted to have your wedding photography done at Serenity Gardens, they will accommodate a 2 hour photography shoot for $300 plus tax.  Although they are just starting out, I can see these gardens morphing in the years to come with open spaces for tenting and Reception facilities as well.  Can't wait to see it all progress, however for now Serenity Gardens are a beautiful alternative ceremony venue for your Kelowna wedding.
