Ontario couple has Destination Wedding in Kelowna!

Two busy executives from Ontario, their friends and family, found their way to the sunny Okanagan this summer for this "Winery" themed Kelowna wedding. They are a fabulous couple and I was so thrilled to finalize their planning and spend the day coordinating their wedding event. As a Kelowna/Okanagan Destination Wedding Planner, sharing these special moments is my ultimate joy.

Lauren is stunningly gorgeous and Todd a big teddy bear with his vivacious smile. So suited for one another. Both with interests in fabulous wine and great food, this made the winery venue a must! Their wedding colors mimicking the shades of wine - merlot/burgundy and the green of young ripened white grapes. No detail spared for her guest's comforts. Lauren arranged for "Welcome Bags" in each guests room upon arrival filled with Okanagan wine, local bottled water, and chocolate bars filled with locally grown cherries. She wanted her guests to be treated to a weekend centered around the beauty and bounty that the Okanagan has to offer.

Guests were pampered with a relaxed weekend of Houseboat dinners, waterfront catered events and then a small intimate wedding celebration, overlooking Lake Okanagan, as the climax. An incredibly sunny, warm day and a sunset to add the warmest glow to this event. To top it all off, as though the day wasn't sweet enough, the guests were favored with packaged Truffles, from a local artisan chocolatier.

The icing on he cake, so to speak, are these extraordinary photos provided by Glen Durrell Photography. Absolutely stunning. Glen has a magnificent way with light, stunning color and what a fabulous representation of this paradise we all call home. Thanks so much Glen, you have done it once again.
