Lisa and Adam were the quintessence of an Urban couple selecting the Okanagan, namely Kelowna for their destination wedding.  Central for guests from Alberta as well as the lower Mainland of B.C.
They both met working at Montanas.  Adam a singer with his own Alternative Rock band, plays electric drums, loves Funk music and was a whiz at graphic art.   Adam stood hands higher than Lisa, but she was feisty. She walked down the aisle to "True Colors" by Cindy Lauper.   Both eclectic in their styles, very urban and both so talented.   Together they designed the look of their cake.  The draft was then given to the baker to vamp up.  They designed their centerpieces and made them by hand. Every element of their day, from stationary,  graphics, entry seating chart and graphics wall, cake, table centers and favors were all created and made by them and showed such individuality.  Every where you looked in their day, it spoke of Lisa and Adam and who they are individually and as a couple.

 They had a passion for food and wine.  Hence the "Wine Tasting Reception" after the ceremony to replace the standard Cocktail reception.  To compliment the wine tasting further, they solicited the chef at Summerhill Pyramid Winery to create a one of a kind "Cheese Tower" representing a towered wedding cake, made from wheels of different cheeses.    A big hit!




  The "Champagne Bottle Sabering" that Summerhill is known for, just added that extra theatrical touch to their day.  No better place to celebrate than at a local winery, with lake view, fabulous food and wine. A colorful couple, so much in love.

Adam was a whiz as a graphic artist and as you can see below he designed and made every aspect of their stationary, invites and favors which were candies placed into a pyramid shaped box, mimicking the pyramid that their winery venue is known for.  When you entered the banquet room there was a full wall of graphics and the seating chart also was attached to the wall in a particular design.  It held a collage of pictures from their engagement shoot against a graffiti backdrop wall.
